Panther Truck Rental have been renting vehicles in Chichester since 1987.
We started with just four commercial vehicles in 1987 and have had a steady increase in the size of our fleet over the last 32 years. We now run a large and varied fleet of both cars and commercials from two sites. We moved onto Quarry Lane Industrial Estate in 1988 and have been on our current Chichester site, which is still on Quarry lane Industrial Estate, for around twenty years and opened a new branch in Bognor Regis in January 2019.
Nearly all the staff we have have been with us for very many years and, between all of us, have well in excess of 100 years experience in the rental industry.
We are still a family run business and our policy of offering a service that we believe is second to none coupled with competitive rates and a genuinely honest approach to the way we conduct our business has not changed since the beginning. We would like to think it is the reason for our last thirty two years of successful trading and trust it will be the reason for the next.
Since the outset we have specialised in the light commercial sector to both daily rental and contract hire customers alike. Today we still specialise in the light commercials but have increased our fleet to encompass an extensive range of cars, vans and trucks. There are even occasions we have luxury 4 x 4's for hire and 4 x 4 pick up trucks.
All our vehicles can be offered from just a single daily hire right through any period of rental up to a comprehensive 36 month full maintenance contract hire.
We maintain all our vehicles in our own workshop by fully qualified technicians. With a fleet of vehicles covering in excess of two and a half million miles a year we have strict servicing schedules to keep these vehicles out on the road.
