Conditions Of Hire

The rental period runs from 08:00 one morning through to 08:00 the next to fall within a 24 hour rental period unless otherwise agreed.

All payments must be paid prior to the rental commencing. On collection of the vehicle you will be asked to pay for for the rental charge in full by either cash, cheque or credit card. You must also show your driving licence (both parts if it's the new photocard). You will also be asked to leave a £50,00 deposit by either credit or debit card.

All drivers must have shown their licence prior to the rental commencing. No other drivers should be allowed to drive the rental vehicle if they have not shown their licence. All drivers must be over 21 and under 75.

Drivers from 21-23 must have held their full licence for a minimum of two years and have no current convictions at all. The insurance excess for drivers 21-23 is £650.00

Drivers from 23-25 must have held their full licence for a minimum of one year. The insurance excess is £650.00

Drivers from 25-75 must have held their full licence for a minimum of one year. The insurance excess is £450.00

For drivers of 23-75 certain current convictions are accepted. These must be notified to Panther Truck Rental prior to the rental commencing. In some circumstances current convictions will increase the insurance excess in the event of an accident.

Please note that our insurers will class all minor endorsements as "current" for five years and must be disclosed. Endorsements that begin DR are classed as "current" for 11 years.
